I've searched the places for Plattsburgh, but I'm looking for more recent reviews. It will be a stopover on my way to Montreal. What is a good beer bar in Plattsburgh? Any which are noteworthy? Or in close proximity?? Or should I just keep going north of the border? Thanks guys!
Livingood, just south of the city in Peru. If you want to visit a place that says "BAR", hit the Monopole.
Can't comment on beer bars, but I did enjoy a pleasant afternoon at a brewery called Oval in what I think are former military grounds? It's a re-purposed fire station. Owner/brewer was a super nice guy. Beers weren't world beaters, but they were all well done. He recommended another nearby brewery, but I have since forgotten the name.
