please help foam sadness

    Hello I need some help I have had my kegerator for a few months now and am on my 5th keg no problems till now I am probably answering my own question but I would like a second opinion I have a 5 gal keg of blue moon that got to cold and I think it froze I pulled it out for a couple of hours it sound like it thawed I raised the temp of the kegerator and it has been a couple days no when I open the faucet only foam comes out if you just let it run it will clear for a second or two then right back too foam do you think the keg is ruined or do I have other problems it was working great till the freeze

    It is over carbonated. In addition to thawing it you need to burp it down. Turn the co2 off, and pull the release ring. Then shake it and pull the ring again. Repeat every so often until nothing comes out when you pull the ring. Should be 24-48 hours. Then reapply the co2 and it should be back to normal.
