Please stop making "Versus" threads!

Yogi, I'm with you on these. I'm sick of seeing heady vs zombie dust, pliny vs zombie dust, and othe dipa vs apa threads. Let's see people actually compare beers from the same styles. I am also sick of macro bashing threads for the sake of hipster scene points.
None of you guys will ever be as cool as Zach De La Rocha, so burn your che shirts and shave your damned beards.

 

To arbitrarily prohibit beer vs. beer threads will reduce the conflict between beers, which on the face of it sounds like a good thing, but this imposed peace will result over the long run in much weaker beers that have never learned how to defend themselves.

We cannot afford such a future.

 

don't make versus threads that have been done before

don't read threads that you don't support

I dunno... sure there are genres of threads I don't care for, but I just avoid them. And despite the many discenting opinions, I find sucks vs nugget nectar threads to discuss a valid comparison... different styles or not.

 

BA would be boring if anyone did that all the threads would be about how to fit beer in a picnic basket
