I will be staying in the Mission Beach area of San Diego in a couple of days. Would like to know if Pliny or Blind Pig can be found for purchase in that area. I'm sure there's alot of other great beers available in that area so I am open to suggestions on beers and destinations. I like to keep it on the hoppy side of things not much into stouts,porters,hefe's, or sours. I live in Florida ,not interested in anything that can be had there,for ex. Stone,Lagunitas,Alesmith etc. Thank You in advance for suggestions!
Your east coast shipments of SD beer will have suffered, so try 'em local and fresh. But you posted in the wrong forum, try Pacific. Search it and you would have found 90% of your answers. But you're lazy so I'll give you a few tips. In Mission Beach you can go to PB and hit the Taproom to try damn near all SD on tap. Go there and you'll understand. Go to OB and hit Pizza Port for fantastic local beer that's not bottled. Hit Olive Tree Market for your bottleshop. If you want more good beer catch a cab to 30th St. Look it up and you'll know. It'll blow the crap you get in FL out of the water. Cheers.
