Sorry if there have been threads about this - I tried searching.

I'll be in Berkeley from 3/29 to 4/5 and will be hunting for bottles of Pliny. I see Arlington Wine & Spirits, Ledgers Liquors, and Whole Foods are good places to look. Anyone know if Berkeley deliveries happen on specific days/times of the week?

    Any advice is appreciated!

Not sure about Berkeley, but another option is to bring something with you for an IP trade. There's at least two MA breweries that people would be more than happy to trade Pliny for. :grinning:

Rather than chasing trucks I'd recommend making the drive up to the Russian River Brewery in Santa Rosa. Non-rush hour it should only be about an hour drive, you'll waste more time than that looking around bottle shops. You can taste lots of their beers including many such as Blind Pig that they don't distribute anymore.

Use your Berkeley time for Fieldwork, Faction and Rare Barrel. And take the BART over the city and drink the heck out of Cellarmaker, Cellarmaker is releasing Wicked Juicy on 4/4 which I would gladly fight to get vs Pliny.

Thanks Homer - lucky for me I have been to the brewery before and am looking to avoid making the trip up there. Believe me I have done my fair share of truck chasing here in Boston, which is why I was trying to get some local intel. Appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestion though!

Honestly, I think Ledgers might be your best bet. I'm pretty sure they get their delivery on Thursday afternoon, but it should stick around until Friday. Fieldwork also mentioned that they will be doing four can releases that weekend - two on Friday and two on Sunday. They will be posting more info on the releases in couple of days.

Beer Rev and Faction brewing are a fantastic 1-2 punch. Requires a car though.

I'd be more than happy to hook @JeffMurphy up if he needs the help, especially if there's some MA stuff involved.:grinning:
