I've heard (just word of mouth mind you) that Lynden has the highest rate of teen pregnancy in the state. There's jackshit for kids to do up there, and some of those farm girls are attractive young ladies, so I can believe it. They do, however, grow some damn tasty berries. Whatcom county produces about 30% of the nations raspberry crop, an article in the paper this week said the output was over 60 million tons of raspberries this year. That's more than even I can eat.
