My wife is in Grants Pass for work through tomorrow, 10/4. We are from MA, and cannot get Pliny here. I would appreciate any tips on confimred sightings. Thanks
I can't speak for Grants Pass presently, but I'm afraid your odds are not good. Distribution is very limited outside of Portland; we generally see Pliny on tap even here in Eugene no more than once a month. In the last 5 months, I've seen bottles available here on only a single occasion. Even then, there was a one bottle purchase limit, as I think the store in question got only a single case. My understanding is that Oregon gets a single shipment of RR stuff a month. Even in PDX, which gets a relatively decent supply of pliny, it's unusual for any store to have it available for more than a couple days. There was a post several months ago about some bar in Medford having pliny on tap, which is the only time I've ever heard of it being available in the South Oregon area. Don't mean to rain on your parade, but I'm afraid there is virtually no chance of you finding any pliny in Grants Pass.
Shoot! Saw your postwas dated Thursday, anyhow, if you are near Medford , which is close to Grants Pass, check out Beerworks, they have Pliny on tap often, and a great beer selection, and Wally is a great guy ! If you go sometime, tell him "Dark Lord" gave you the tip. He'll know.
