My buddy is landing in Seattle today and wants to find some Pliny. He said he will be driving to Lynnwood, Sumner and then Tacoma. Any chance he might find some anywhere?

I just asked the beer buyer at Central Market Mill Creek yesterday and they expect the next shipment to arrive next week. Good luck but his timing might be a little off unless he gets very lucky. Maybe a local BA can help out but it won't be fresh. Hopefully he can come up with something somewhere between Lynnwood and Tacoma.
If all he wants to do is drink it on site and not looking for bottles to take home, he will probably find it on tap somewhere. It's fairly ubiquitous on tap.

Pretty much agree with NWer. I would assume Pint defiance gets some (I didn't see any there last time I was in), but most places that get bottles of pliny run out fast (same day it arrives or maybe a few days later, tops). So unless the OP's friend times it just right, the odds of finding bottles are not good. I'm assuming that like Portland, the Tacoma area gets just the single shipment of RR each month.

Followup: Have him check Twitter often #ontapsea
Might help locate it on tap at least.

Maybe have him call Special Brews in Lynwood, to see if they will be getting any. (425) 741-7049
