How much do you pay for a bottle of Pliny?
The liquor store, Royal Liquor in Leucadia, has had their prices jump from $6.99 a bottle to today $9.99 a bottle! Is this happening everywhere or are they jumping their prices just because of demand? Also, Blind Pig is the same...
What's your location and Pliny prices? I am really sick of this... Especially with the other great choices we have in San Diego! I may be on a Pliny boycott... :grimacing:

I typically find it for around $4.99 at Whole Foods or around $5.60 at a few local stand alone beer shops

I usually buy my Pliny and Pig at Ramirez Liquor in LA. It's either $5 or $5.50, I can't remember exactly.

Edit: This was about 4-6 weeks ago. Hopefully, there isn't a price increase with the next wave of deliveries...

Edit: I may be on a Pliny AM on a Royal Liquor boycott... Their prices always suck, but this is the last straw!

$4.31 at the store I normally buy from in the SF Bay Area. They sometimes run out, though, so finding Pliny is a little uncertain and sometimes they limit bottles to 1 (have never tried to buy more than 2 at a time, but I suspect they'd limit quantity at all times, just sometimes more than others).

It's $5.50. I remember going to a store like Ramirez back in the day and I would be able to pick up 6 bottles of PtE with no problem at almost any given time.

Anything over $4.99 = extra profit for store. They all pay the same.

Pliny did not take a price increase. If a store is retailing it for over a certain price, RRs distributor rep will ask them to lower it. If they don't, they will most likely not get any more Russian River. $9.99 is nuts.

Two years ago Diablo Foods in Lafayette used to sell bottles of Pliny and Blind Pig for 3.79. Eighteen months ago Pliny started to creep up in price. 4.29 - 4-99 - 5.29 - 5.99. Last batch I saw on the shelves was priced at 6.49. I'm not buying it at that price, I still have one source that is priced fairly

I was there a couple of weeks ago and saw it for 6.49. Passed even though it was only a day old.
