So I'm in you Portland right now. I'm in until Tuesday when I head to the coast to bring mudbug a little Selkirk Abbey. Does anywhere currently have PtE on tap, preferably with RPM or HV as well?
Here's what i found from a quick internet search. No Pliny as far as i can see, but plenty of Boneyard. RPM: Concordia Ale House, Horsebrass, Hawthorne Hophouse Hop Venom: Apex Keep in mind that, with the exception of Apex, these lists aren't live, so you may want to call ahead if you're dead set on a single beer. If you're curious, all of these places, along with Roscoe's, Bailey's, Saraveza, The Beermongers, Belmont Station, Growler Guys, Imperial, Growlers Hawthorne, and many others that I'm sure I'm forgetting post taplists online. Some are more up to date than others. If you go to Apex, be sure to head across the street to The Beermongers. Best (not biggest, but best) bottle shop in town and they have Sticky Hands on tap. Also, why does my phone autocorrect taplists to rapists?
@John_M has mentioned before that Horse Brass generally has either PtE or Blind Pig on tap all the time. You may have to bar hop a bit to score all your salmon.
I forgot to search Horse Brass. I've checked a few others but tap lists aren't up to date at all. P.S. my taplist doesn't come up as rapist, sicko lol
I know this post won't be of much help to what you are looking for, but here's my two cents. I see that Belmont Station had Blind Pig on yesterday, so maybe it's still there. As for other things, Growler Guys has 3 way, Sculpin, RuinTen, Double Jack, Apex IIPA from Bear Republic, Hand Truck Pale from Barley Brown's, and Bon-a-Fide pale from Boneyard. Don't know about you, but that's good hoppiness right there. Just putting it out there.
Also, going off N.W.I.P.A.'s last facebook update from yesterday, they had on 3 way, pallet jack, megafauna, and hop venom. Amazing lineup
Hop venom at killer burger in downtown portland on 3rd, get it with the peanut pickle bacon burger. its my heaven on earth
Nwpia is way underrated. I'm usually more than tipsy when I leave. Mind you I am not driving. Anyone know when the last time horsebrass cleaned their lines?
Probably back before Don Younger passed would be my guess. I'm usually pretty sensitive to dirty tap lines, but I never seem to notice any problem at the HB. Maybe it's because I drink there so often, I can no longer tell the difference. Otherwise, the HB would be the OP's best bet to score the entire trifecta in one sitting. RPM is part of the regular line-up, and they tend to carry Pliny and HV pretty often. However, I would definitely call over before heading over, just to get some idea what they're currently carrying. Good luck. (personally, if it were me, I'd take beefandbean22's recommendation and shoot on over to Growler Guys... but then I'm a complete sucker for bona-a-fide, and I never seem to be able to get enough 3 way)
Pliny was on at Baileys last night. IIPA fest at Saraveza next weekend will probably have pliny and HV.
They have an outside cleaning company come in once a month. I don't know whether they do any cleaning on their own in between the pro service.
County Cork just mentioned on FB that they have Pliny on today. http://m.yelp.com/biz/county-cork-public-house-portland
Yep, I hit Bailey's right about 5 today...that keg was about blown. It was better than 2-day old bottled. I'm hitting up GG tomorrow on way to coast. Thanks good sirs!
Well, I'm heading back to north Idaho tomorrow. All in all it was a success. I scored PtE twice on tap, got growlers of Pfriem Mosaic Pale, Bone-I-fied, and RPM. I snagged up three four packs of 3-Way, three 32ozers of 20-day old Sucks and a simple pleasure I can't get, cans of SNPA.
