Good for RR.. I think its great! I do not know why anyone on this site would not want to watch a video about the #1 and #5 rated beers in the world.. Obviously we all have our opinions and should not be criticized for them. The numbers dont lie though.
    1 and 5!!!!!!

Yeah you're right - mostly has to do with reusing glasses.

All right, that makes sense. Although I don't think I've ever seen a bar reuse glasses, I think that would be a pretty big red flag all on its own...

...What? Zombie Dust is 6.4% ABV, DIPA is typically >8%. I'd call ZD an IPA, but it's on the border between Pale Ale and IPA.

I think it started in a time where it was more common to reuse a customer's glass. Ex: customer says, "it's fine, just use the same glass". Probably more of a "it just doesn't look good" type thing more than an actual sanitation issue and most bars get a new glass everytime but I still hear customers say that it's either ok to use the same glass they just emptied or that they would actually prefer the bartender use it for whatever reason.

Interestingly enough I think each beer is at one of the boundaries of the single IPA style. I've been seeing more beers termed as extra IPA or double pale ales which I assume is how breweries are trying to handle evolving style assumptions. To me PtE seemed like it had the body of a lighter pale, the hopping of an IPA, and the booziness of a DIPA, which did not impress me. That doesn't mean it isn't foundational or worthy of a documentary though, clearly it is a beloved beer

3F is very liberal with the term Pale Ale, both ZD and Alpha King drink like IPA's and I like them better than Dreadnaught.

Double Daisy Cutter is canned with Pale Ale on the label, and for anyone who has tied it you know damn well it's nothing close to what a prototypical PA would be. DDC is a monstrously hoppy, palate wrecking, beast of a DIPA, it's also great stuff. Terminology is up the brewery, D Daisy Cutter is an Ale and it is dry, so it does fit to a degree, but it's still drinks like a huge DIPA..
