RR's unwillingness to expand gets a little more ridiculous every day.

Why? They're in a good place right now. They're at the production limit and make beer because they enjoy it. If they're making a good living doing things the way they currently are, they don't really have an incentive to expand.

As a businessman, I would expand in a heartbeat but I respect them for what they do.

If they're in a good place, why did they have to pull out of an entire state? Maybe Vinnie and Natalie like the position they're in, but as a consumer (and a retailer) it annoys me to no end.

Not enough to stop buying their products, of course.

What do they care if they sell all of their beer in 4 states or just 1? Pulling out of the state just makes it easier for them to do business. Besides, it was really just one city that got their beer anyway. I'm a retailer too. It's not that annoying, just a nice bonus when we get it. The customers who don't buy anything except Pliny are what's annoying.

Consumers can demand as much as they want. Vinnie runs his business in the best manner for himself. And I bought PtE in San Diego today. Sounds like they're doing well to me.

This has happened to me behind the bar more times than I thought possible. I can't even wear my Pliny shirt at with anymore without people bugging the shit out of me. And most of them seem incapable of figuring out that it's on tap a majority of the year at a bar literally across the street.

I had a guy cuss me out because I wouldn't sell him three bottles. During out yelling match I find out that he hasn't tried it and hates "nasty bitter fucking ipas"

I never need more than 6 bottles of Pliny at a time. If I buy much more than that, they're no longer fresh when I get around to drinking them. I like to keep a good rotation so I don't have a half case that's 3 months old!
