one of my pet peeves is when someone asks about philly and someone else suggests a place thats in the burbs. But I'm going to be a hypocrite and do just that: Iron Abbey in Horsham just tapped it today

on a side note, while it may be a bit of a drive, i love Iron abbey, great beers, great atmosphere, great food, i especially loved their chilli, had it on the nachos, its worth the visit, even more so if ur looking for pliny

I agree to a point. When someone says they're "going to be in Philadelphia this weekend where should I go" and a bar is mentioned that is in Paoli or Norristown that is absurd. In the case of beer like a Pliny the Elder I think it's okay to mention a "not in Philly" bar because it's still in Southeastern PA.

no, but its a true futbol / soccer bar, don't be surprised if its mobbed on a random Tuesday afternoon. The food is fantastic, their lunch buffet can't be beat.

agreed as well. especially with the traffic going out that way on 76...it might look like its a 20 minute ride but it could end up being an hour (or more).
