Is this batch same size as before or slightly larger?

I read they did double from last year, 165 barrels to 365 or something like that.

So there are 2 different batches? I'm not sure if I'm reading correctly.

Yes two different batches, Windsor and Santa Rosa they shouldn’t taste much different. And yes double from last year.

I know they got some new accounts getting it (Central CA iirc) hoping some places like Beachwood and their raffle got a few more than before.

Will the different batches be labeled so that we know which one we tried? Or will those of us who drink it down in SoCal always get the batch from Santa Rosa, and the Windsor batch will only be served at Windsor?

I’m assuming the batch going out for distro will be from Windsor since that is now our production facility. I could be wrong though. The keg labels usually say Windsor or Santa Rosa if you want to ask your spot, they can check.

Could only imagine how that would go in certain spots when this gets released, but challenge accepted.

    thanks for answering the rumor!

great info here. which of the 2 did you prefer? does the top open fermenting give it a noticeable difference?

@Crunk_certified thanks for the great info. I’ll be at Windsor tomorrow. Does anyone have any idea how early one has to be in line to make it in the first wave! Thanks.

I can’t speak on the differences between locations yet as we’ve only tasted the Santa Rosa’s version, which was really damn tasty. And yes open top fermention does change the taste of the beer, this is why we chose to blend two batches, if Vinnie likes what the open top fermenter adds to younger he may do it all on the open tops next year.

I don’t think anyone is quite sure how the line will be going at Windsor because it’s the first year we are doing it there. We will have bathrooms open tonight for people deciding to lineup over night.

Planning on hitting the santa rosa brew pub tomorrow and windsor Saturday. I'll report back with details on both locations.

Dammit getting a pour of Younger is hard enough, now I have to track down 2 versions of it?

Update: we’re at Windsor and there are probably 30 people in line at 7AM. We heard about 100 people at 6 in Santa Rosa.

I can't see IG at work but I'd maybe wonder if it's cloudy due to first few pours from the keg?

How are things now? I want to check out the new location (I live right under an hour away). Not sure what day would be worth driving out, or even waiting until Monday possibly.
