If you know Raul, you know that he loves Russian River. That said, your boy is a straight shooter. And this years version is to channel @Resistance88 it’s booty! It’s like Power Plant light. The heavy syrup just kills it. And did they use Cryo hops and/or Nectaron here? So bummed. Raul update: I just moved down the street from this has risen joint:

 

Got a couple 10 oz pours of pty and I thought it was good as ever. A little more on the soft citrus/orange flesh side of things than the punchy/pithy side of things. But that's really parsing a beer.

Still drier and lighter than most tipas you'll find.

I think @RaulMondesi and @Resistance88 should probably get off insta and stop being such hype chasers

I drank a dark lager after younger and then a blind pig and pig definitely tastes light and sharp after the younger.

I'm a real beer afficionado though so you know the dark lager was the beer of the night *pinkies out plebes*

idk..i give it a 5/5 after having 3 pints .

 

Yeah I could see it being more aroma vs the last couple years. I felt like the hops were softer, less punchy.

Stopped in for some hair of the dog yesterday after drinking way too much in addition to the younger on Thursday. Our local spot got 2 kegs as opposed to the one he usually gets. So it'll go back on for us in another week or so.

They've got to be reaching saturation at this point. RR seems pretty savvy when it comes to managing hype and scarcity while growing, but younger seems like an easy one to fumble if they let it become too ubiquitous.
