Snow had zero effect on the crowd. Most people walk to SPTR, not drive in from the 'burbs.

My buddy and I were lucky enough to get our PtY pours yesterday for free. Tasted even better that way.

Did anyone else go to the younger tapping at city tap house today? I was blown away with how well run and organized the event was. I'd go back to this place in a heartbeat. Very impressed.

Yeah, I drove down from NYC and was equally as impressed. Much better run than any big releases I've been to in NYC.

I was there with two friends. We got there around 8:30 and were #37-39 in line. I had my first beer in my hand by 9:15 (a Blind Pig) and stayed until around 2 PM. Really nice brunch and, of course, the beer was stellar. They had nice little touches (almost immediate refills on water all morning, the awesome free doughnuts) that really pushed it over the top for me.

Will be going to Local 44 on Wednesday to try Younger for the first time... anyone know what they (or Memphis Tap) normally does in terms of price/pour size? Cheers!

Wanted to share for those available, I was just at Good Dog and they had some tickets left, no line, $10. May want to call first if you're coming from a distance though.

Well, definitely feel the need to follow up on that, great time at Good Dog. Multiple pours available and was not overly crowded, although I assume the 3:00 Monday tap time and multiple events this past weekend probably contributed to today's accessibility. Either way, thanks to the folks there for a great event!

    Thanks for the heads up.

I made it down for one PtY despite an overturned vehicle on 76.

Hah, I think we were talking for a bit actually, right as you were about to order the last pour. Good you were able to make it in despite the obstacles!

Just a recap that the event at Local 44 was awesome. Letting people in early who responded to the email meant no lines, no chaos at the bar, just a calm quick wait to get your pour. And it was $10 for a 10-12oz glass for those interested. Would definitely go back next year if they land another keg.

I would be shocked if no one from here went to Blue Dog Tavern today.

I saw that they updated the tap list on the 15th and pty was still on it....thought it was unusual. I wonder if it is still on tap today, or will be later tonight when I could make it there.

I also second the awesomeness of Local 44. For $10 and no line, it was great. A buddy of mine and I were not on the list, but we still got in and had a glass, with plenty to spare. It also helped that it was 11 am on a Wednesday...
