Dry Dock Bligh's releases the 23rd, so I'll probably do the 22nd.

I just happen to be flying into Denver on the 23rd... Supposed to arrive at DIA at 10:54 am, probably won't be able to get there before 12:15 or so... Think there is any chance I can get there in time for a chance for a pour?

First round colored tickets (guaranteed a pour) become available at 11am, so ... it really depends on how many people show up before you do.

Thanks Todd... I guess it's worth a try, not too often I'm that close to PtY!

Are you checking bags or renting a vehicle? If either is a yes there is no way you get to lodo in 75 minutes after arrival on a Sunday.

I hesitate to say this, lest it draw more people... but Falling Rock's Sunday tapping is historically laid back and manageable.

PtY tappings in general are typically laid back no matter where you go. I think in past years 12 kegs have made their way to CO and 3 of which are poured at Falling Rock and I believe they've had 150 tickets or so per 'release'. Other releases may have gotten smaller kegs b/c other ticketed releases are sometimes near 70 tickets. I have never had to get anywhere more than 30min. before release to get a ticket and a pour, and in a lot of instances enough for a second pour. Unfortunately this year the news has been plastered all over the place. Typically the news isn't released until after the first pouring at Falling Rock, so we'll see how much of a crowd shows up this year, although I'll probably go to the few places that I know will have it that aren't posted yet.

Haha...since when? Admittedly, I haven't been in a couple of years, but in the way-back machine the crowd was merciless...or close to it

Still never been motivated enough to make it to a PtY tapping. I am sure the beer is great, but I honestly don't care that I am missing out.

It's true. I mean....it's not true, so like, stay away....or something.

I think I will finally get my younger this year. Thanks Todd for the info!

Domingo: I am with you. Last year Cheeky Monk had it. I would rather sit down to some awesome food there and grab a glass, but I will go wherever the kegs go.

I'm at a table downstairs with my kids wearing an astros hat. I have an extra yellow ticket as the wife hates ipas and I am driving so only one for me. Come holla if you need a ticket.

Wow. The FR guys handled it well but what a crowd, a bunch of yuppies and neck beards. And to the guy who I gave my extra ticket to, I thought meeting you had all the charm of a mugging. Next time introduce yourself, say thank you, act like I am not paying you money I borrowed two years ago.
