Pliny The Younger Release Visit--Need Tips

    Hi Guys,

    I am going to visiting SFO/Santa Clara next week and I have already booked two nights in Santa Clara to get some Younger while I am in town (business trip). I can go anytime Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

    For all of you who went last year, any tips you can give me? My hotel is down the street so don't need parking tips, but, I have no idea as far as what time to go, when time to show up to get in and any other nooks and crannies.

    I know they open at 11 each day, so my plan is to be outside the door at 9:30AM on Saturday. Any idea if this would put me in a good spot to get in the brewery within 2-3 hours? I am fine with waiting, I just want to get myself a spot.

    Also, I should mention....I mean't I can go anytime Saturday, Sunday, Monday 14-16th, thank god I'll miss opening weekend. I also wonder...if I wait outside the brewpub at like 5 or 6am and get in when it opens 5 hours later....should I just get their at like 10 and get in at like 2 or 3 and at least be drinking at a normal time?

    FYI Russian River is in Santa Rosa not Santa Clara. Hope that's a typo otherwise that's a long street that your hotel would be down the street from them on.

    Haha! Yeah, it is a typo. This is why I can't live in Cali...too many "Santas" but, yes, my hotel is in Santa Rosa.

    Although they are changing things up a bit this year letting people stay in the pub for only 3 hours max, the line may move a little better. But generally, if u got there at 9:30 it'd be a 6-8 hour wait to get in.

    Yeah...that is what I am hearing...I think I will revise that to 630am.

    I wonder if they have wifi/ available. If so, it'd work out great because I could get some work done and make money while waiting in line.

    went last year on the last tuesday of the release, got in line between 7:30-8:00am and was maybe 10th in line; by 9:30-10:00am it was wrapped around the corner; was definitely not as bad as the first week as people had said; am doing the same thing this year

    Super random Q..does anyone know the WiFi password for RR or for WiFi nearby?

    I can do consulting work for the hours while I wait which would seriously pass time.
