Pliny the Younger - Save the Date?

no, it was still about 120-140 people in front of us. I think first people came out at around midnight...lol. insane.
I didn't mind waiting from 6:40 to 10 but then till 2pm it was really hard and super slow.

 

Showed up at toronado SF, this morning 30min prior to opening, was first in line. Had about 8, pours was tree about 2 hours no line or wait to get in when I left and plenty of younger was flowing

 

Clearly you Northern folks are putting something in the water that you're sending down to SoCal that makes us become completely stupid about beer releases/bottle releases.

 

Malt and hops mostly.

 

Wasn't bad yesterday. Got there about 8am and was in the door at opening (1115)

 

How quickly does the ticket line move for Tustin Brew co? Are people going to be camping like at Hollingshead?

 

Looks like RR week @ Tustin is already over. Gets shorter every year.

 

Toronado in SF has gotten a keg the last few days and they told me that they should be getting another keg tomorrow (Friday). I got there today at 2:30 and the keg was still going strong (had 3 Youngers, no line, no waiting). Cheers!

 

Got mine in Livermore. Had 2 youngers and an Altamont Scarcity with no wait at all.

 

How did the Scarcity compare to Younger?

You know, I found it a bit similar. But it wasn't as crisp...slightly dull

 

They gave out wristbands this year, and the last one was handed out at 10:45 AM for their 11:00 AM event. Not nearly as many people as I expected. I was 54th at 9:30.

Yes, they need to compress it to Russian River day next year and put everything on at once like many other places do for Younger day.

Tustin was a mess this year though ... I went Monday and Wednesday and they were totally understaffed both days and seemingly unprepared for the crowds. I don't want to bitch about it too much because I do love Tustin Brewing, but they could use better organization.
