You use pellet or leaf dry hop?

I used both, I had 1oz of Simcoe whole leaf and all the others my LHBS only had pellets.

The NB kit comes with hopshots, but there is still a _ lot_ of trub/vegetal matter.

So he(v Ciluzo)reinforces the 90 minute boil.....a lot of the PTE versions don't have Pilsener malt, I'm curious what the reasoning is for 90. ( I do it every time, but never really read exactly why....)

Although 90 min IBU extraction is not linear, it will result in more IBUs than a 60 min boil. Pliny is also very lite on the SRM and maybe there is a little more kettle carmelization desired (I doubt it)

Solid. Great insight here. Really looking forward to seeing how mine turns out. My mash pH was a bit low at 5.0, so I’m hoping that won’t affect the flavor profile too much.

I had read that, but does that mean dry hopping in secondary only?
