Does anyone know how they are dealing with bottles of this and what not (price/limit)? I know they will have it on tap for Zwanze Day, but what about bottles. I mean 450 cases split between 7 bars and the FW brewery could mean up to 55 cases per place. Apparently, it is like $25/bottle at Toronado (one of the seven bars) with I think a 1 bottle limit at some of the bars.

just show up and drink as much of it on tap as you want...?

i don't think there will be bottles at that event. at least it doesn't seem like it. if there are, he probably won't let them sell to go. since i'm assuming that's what you are trying to do since you're asking about bottles at a place that's definitely having it on tap.

also, i believe i drank this at monk's at the end of philly beer week this year? someone refresh my memory on that weird tap list, please. probably a 2nd keg they got from whenever/however they got that one?

*edit: nevermind found it. http://beeradvocate.com/events/info/61478 guess it wasn't called PNC then. but appears to be it. tom helped brewed it, it appears. so i'm sure they got a couple kegs.

It's good, it's not $25 good. Had a chance to buy some at Toronado last month and passed.

$5 for 6 oz pour according to monks website, so it = ~$20/bt if btls were 750ml : ) drink up

And six ounces is plenty. it's a perfect portion for this beer.
Considering it's a charity event, if you wanted to take a bottle(assuming they exist), i'm sure a charitable gesture would allow for such. it usually does.

Monk's has done this exact thing before in the past for rare bottles that otherwise would never leave the premises (or even be listed on the menu). Everything on the email for Zwanze Day appears to be draft, but who knows, maybe they'll have bottles too.

They've been doing for a while, indeed. i've taken some killer stuff in the past. and all for charity! and my face!
