    I don't think I've played in a LIF yet (going to enter the Newport one tonight), but the cellar is getting big, so I thought I'd try to run one.

    Rules:
    One guess per person
    Must have at least 100 posts prior to start of LIF
    May not have won a LIF before
    Only mention a max of two podcasts in your post


    Game:
    Guess my favorite 2 podcasts and you win:

    I made it 2 podcasts to make it a little harder, if no one wins by February, then the first person who guessed my favorite will win. If no one guesses my favorite, then the first person to guess my 2nd favorite will win. If no one guesses either, I will allow multiple entries and/or previous LIF winners until someone wins.

    You mean ever, right? There is a very real Venn issue with people who post enough to match 100 and aren't active on LIF/BIF enough to have won one at some point. Great idea though.

    Yes they have. I started a LIF with the intent of helping multiple people who have never won get that first win and it killed participation.

    This also leads me to think that people who haven't won...also don't play...enough.

    Also, people who are newer are more likely to have never won...but they might not be eligible because of the minimum postings rule.

    I was way short of the post requirement or I would have been firing off guesses. But I'm rooting for envelopes because he earned extra good beer karma by giving to the Sandyhook Lif twice!
