Afternoon all, I did a quick search on zip codes and only came up with 1 review for Berekely bowl. Was curious if this was a good store? My wife will be up north at our companies open house in a couple weeks and I need to send here somewhere near our Branch in point richmond or her hotel in the Berkeley Marina area to bring me some 21st Amendment. Im looking for as close to these two places as possible as she will be around 8 months pregnant. Dont want to send her on a wild good chase. Any help would be great!! Cheers! James
Have her go to Ledgers on University Avenue in Berkeley. Outstanding store that is very close to the Berkeley Marina (University Avenue ends at the Berkeley Marina).
I second Ledgers, great store. (I think they're closed on Sundays, in case you send her out on your beer run that day.)
It's a pretty good store for beer, but it's also probably the best store for groceries in Cali. I'm still going through Berkeley Bowl withdrawal after having moved to SoCal from the Bay and it's been about 6 years already. Nothing in SoCal can touch it.
My daughters both went to school at Berkeley and plan a stop at the Bowl whenever they return for visits
