I will be in Poland and Greece this summer. I know Cantillon doesn't distribute to either country but are there any other good breweries that I can ship bottles home from?
I'm going back to Poland this summer too. There's decent Greek beer available, although I don't think that I'd go to the trouble to ship any of it home. Some of the highlights of a few recents were stuff from Septem, the Donkey beers from Santorini Brewing, Volkan (another micro on the island), the weiss and red from Vergina, and even Nissos lager is a solid step up from the macros. But I gather from your question that you're thinking of stuff you can buy not necessarily from Greece in order to send home. What I'm saying is just what you've probably already heard from others about what to seek out in the country.
Just got back from Greece earlier this month. I second Septem, especially Septem Monday's Pilsner. Not a lot of places in Athens carry them unfortunately.
