One style. FTW. This is it, BA. Let's go. What's it gonna be? Ale or lager? Who are you? What do you wanna be? What do you wanna drink? You only get to choose one. No wusses...

    I'm an ale man.

I'm on the ale train as well. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy a crisp pils when the weather warms though.

I do love lagers, but I think this will be a landslide for the ales.

Ales are going to win, hands down. I am generally an ale man, but as a contrarian, I chose lager.

I think so, too - but let's see if it gets ugly... :stuck_out_tongue:

Ales for the most part, but a nice Lager can have it's time and place.

I voted lager just to bias the results by a negligible degree.

Lager is not a style or umbrella style, it is a process. And I think dividing beer into "ales" versus "lagers" is a bad idea. I prefer using the color of malt and alcoholic strength as a starting point.

I guess I would have voted "both" if that was an option.

Most lambics and American sours are ales, so yes. I still enjoy a good lager on occasion.

Sours are technically ales since bugs like hot heat. So ales win for me.

Mostly ale, but there are times a Victory Prima Pils or Spaten Optimator hit the spot

While I appreciate the subtlties of many lagers, especially seeing what some brewer's can do with them ie. Jack's Abby, I love the depth of variety in the top fermenteds.
