Well, Fremont was on my list for variety of styles, overall quality across styles and a couple of my all time favorite beers; Deschutes for their breadth and quality, with a couple more of my favorite beers including a founding wow beer in my early craft sampling days: Abyss. Unfortunately, sour and wild yeast ales just are not to my taste, so Holy Mountain and deGarde frustrate me because I have to leave the scope of their production unsampled. Block 15 and Barley Browns are quite good, but I've only sampled one beer from each (it wouldn't surprise me to find one or both moving up in my rating if I had tried more variety). Great Notion has been off my radar despite trying to sample every local brewery. Loved Boneyard's IPAs, but only had a few. Then it's a toss up. I've tried lots of styles that Pfriem has provided to our market, I really liked everything (and classy bottles). Three Magnets would have made the cut if they had been on this list, easily one of my favorite local breweries and great job on a variety of styles.

That was fun and informative, thanks.

In a result that should have surprised no one, Fremont wins our little election, with 47 votes. Block 15 and Holy Mountain split the Silver and bronze medals with 33 votes each. Outsider hype-train favorite Grape Lotion finished 5th, after a strong early start.
