The question keeps coming up and the debate is quite heated, some prefer bottles others cans.
Lets say the beer was the same price, size, abv. etc. which would you buy?
lets settle this once and for all

    i vote bottles

this poll will end in 2 days so we can see a clear winner

since i always try to drink out of a glass anyways i prefer cans because of their ease of recycle/space save compared to bottles. being able to take them into the wild is also a plus because i don't have to worry about a can falling over and shattering into a bunch of foot cutting pieces.

I like that both are available. Obviously going to the beach or camping cans are the better choice. But bottles are the classic choice and are more visually appealing. I voted bottles but I always change my mind of this one.

Cans, since I always pour my beer into a glass. I have tried quite a few beers in a can and I cannot see the difference. The other day a friend paused and looked at me strange as I served him Torpedo in a can. He said that canned beer taste funny, I gave him the beer, he drank, and said he did not notice the difference.

Had Sculpin in a can, it was great but like you, I always pour my beer into a glass.

I love cans but seeing as I don't see too many "can conditioned" options to cellar, I voted bottles.

I like cans for ease of travel but I voted bottles because of the bottle cap collection!

While I like cans, I have been trying to keep BPA out of my life so would prefer to avoid cans whenever possible.

Have changed my preference to cans over the past year - Sculpin, Torpedo, Jai Alai, & Founders Centennial IPA have been the reason. All taste fresher and age better than in bottles.

I totally agree about cans, I have gotten to the point that I almost never buy bottles, unless its just a beer I really like and there is no other option. I wish all my favorites came in a canned form, its easier to store and transport and often times nowadays they taste fresher than bottles and take up much less space in the fridge so you can have more of a variety cold and ready to go.

Agree. I love cellaring bottles. I like cans but I would love for breweries to continue to bottle some beers. I could not imagine cellaring Narwhal in a can.

99% of the time, I pour into a glass. I will NEVER drink from a bottle. I will occasionally drink from a can (IPA, lawn-mowing). Can wins.

Some beers have no business being in cans! Still can't bring myself to drink Ten Fidy from the can . . . I just have to pour it in a glass. But other than those "BIG BEERS" I will always chose the can over a bottle if there is a choice. CANS !!!

Cans used to suck big time when Craft was not into canning. Now that craft has discovered cans they are as popular as sliced bread here.

Agree here also. Absolutely love cellaring. But I did try my first can a week or so ago- Hi-Res- and damn was it good. So maybe for daily drinking I might try some cans but for my true love I will stick with the bottles.

Completely agree, daily drinking in a can, higher end beers such as Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin in a bottle.
