    I couldn't find this poll, though I'd have thought for sure it'd been done before. If so, and my search failed, then my apologies to the original poll-taker...

    The site lists 104 styles (that's including the three hybrid styles).

    Where do you stand, advocate?

    68, actually surprised by that number. I usually stick with my main 5-10 styles. I guess I had to try a lot before I figured out what I liked best.

    According to BA I've had 101. So more than 90-100, but not all of them. :slight_smile:

    ...so looks like 37, assuming I didn't forget any. Which is a lot, considering that this time last year I didn't even know there were 37+ different styles of beer. XD

    Of the 104 listed here, I have had 101.

    That said, many of these "styles" are purely artificial constructs -- and as such you could add any number of further "styles" from German Kellerbiers to various strengths/colors of Czech lager to the list to reach 200+ if you were so inclined -- so IMO the count doesn't really matter anyway. Also, many of the U.S. "craft" offerings are examples of the "styles" in name only.

    82. Luckily, most of the ones I haven't had -Faro, Unblended Lambic, English Pale Mild, English Strong, ESB, Sahti, Kristalweizen, California Common, Dortmunder, Eisbock- I can get fairly easily just by checking the European aisle at the store.

    Per my profile: 92...

    Still prefer classic, generic styles: pilsners, porters, stouts, brown ales, IPAs (English and west coast varieties), rauchbiers, kölsch, doppelbocks, dubbels, tripels, quads, saisons, wheats, wits, ambers, pale ales, Cascadians, double these, imperial thats, collaborations,...etc., etc., ad nauseum...

    Yep...I'm a beer junkie...

    I hit 101 but some might be a stretch, the only kvass I've had is DFH's attempt to mimic one, things like that
