I was told that they can't ship it over here for tax reasons or something like that. I will look for it when I eat at a Japanese restaurant.

My count currently sits at 92 of the styles listed on BA. Here are the 12 styles that I've not logged on the site:
    • English Dark Mild
    • Kvass
    • American Adjunct Lager*
    • American Amber Lager*
    • American Malt Liquor*
    • Light Lager*
    • Low Alcohol Beer*
    • Euro Dark Lager*
    • Euro Pale Lager*
    • Dortmunder/Export Lager
    • Happoshu
    • Japanese Rice Lager*

*styles that I've consumed but have not bothered to log on BA, so realistically, I've had 100 out of 104. The only reason I would have to log those styles would be to say that I've logged 104 out of 104. And given that there are a couple (Happoshu, Kvass) fairly hard-to-come-by beers on that list that I may never see, I see no point in logging the others just so I can sit at 102 out of 104.

If I ever happen to try either of those styles, I might make a point to log the others.

44 according to my profile here, but I tend to be more up-to-date on untappd so I would imagine it's more like mid-50's. Still a ways to go!

I just hit 99 recently, and "100" does sound nice...

The handful of styles left after 5 years of drinking were few, and unsurprisingly, nothing that blew me away. But I've said somewhere before, and I'll say it again here, the Anchor Steam Ale and Sixpoint's Sweet Action (classified here as a cream ale) were super-tasty beers.

Also had some interesting styles along the way...

A kvass, gruit, and faro... The faro was like cherry-berry wine cooler. Not my thang. The gruit was pretty cool. Also sweet and tartly fruity, but with a more rustic, earthy character - herbs instead of hops, like a sahti. The kvass was like a thick prune cola - not bad, actually, but closer to a cola than a beer ("non-alcoholic")...

93 according to this site's stats. Going to have to figure out soon which styles I have not had any of and change that soon!

100 now, finally found Roggenbier and Gose, still want to get my hands on Wheatwine but I'll be damned if any Americans will export this exclusively (it seems!) American style.

Never really thought about it, but I am at 59 in a little under a year of drinking non AB beer. Probably more than that, but I haven't logged some

Possible that Kvass might be stocked in an ethnic grocery store (Ukrainian, Russian, etc.). Happoshu might appear on the beer menu of a Japanese restaurant.

I've had the full list here, but it really doesn't mean much to me. When it dawned on me that I was pretty much there (the dreaded MIA happoshu), I actively went for it. There are styles on this list that I don't consider much of a "style," and there will be beer styles that will never show up on this list. I don't think that having had three examples of a given style has added any real understanding of that style to me. That's clearly even more the case when I've had one example. In the case of that previously mentioned happoshu, the beer I eventually had was a "happoshu," but I'm pretty sure that it wasn't even close to a typical example of the style anyway. It was fun that I was pushed into trying something that I wouldn't have ordinarily had, and it's great if one's horizons get expanded, but for me, I saw it as a hollow accomplishment. I'm not trying to take anything away from those that are on the quest... I was interested in just the same. It's all good fun.
