Poll: How many beer styles have you had?

I'm at 87.

 

89 for me.

10 minutes ago it was 88. By dumb luck I had just finished reviewing my first-ever gose (Bayerischer Banhof Leipziger Gose) when I saw this poll on the Forums listing. I have to say, gose was good!

I'm at 92, but I've been doing it for a while, and much of the search was aimless...and joyous.

I actually counted. I have had 90 styles, with these fourteen to go: Biere de Champagne, Biere de Garde, Faro, English Pale Mild, Sahti, Dunkelweizen, Roggenbier, Kvass, Gruit, American Malt Liquor, Low Alcohol beer, Euro strong lager, Eisbock, Happoshu. Not sure how I've avoided some of those, but the good news is many of them aren't all that hard to acquire. The actual difficulty will be in reviewing all of them to make it official.

 

That-other-beer-site-that-shall-not-be-named does a better job with statistics, it seems. It will display a list of all beer styles they recognize (fewer than here), with the number of beers of each style, including those styles with "0" and your average rating per style. They have various other charts and graphs as well, ratings by month, ratings by style by month, etc. Kind of cool, actually.

 

My BA stats say 60+, but I've only been on the site 6 months....my guess is more ;-)

 

69-looks like I will have to try harder.

Using the styles on this site (which I'm often not in agreement with) I come up with 60.

 

Now up to 40 (though not all of those reviewed on here, so my count according to the site is a few off.) I guess that means as soon as I try another style I haven't had before I'll have to change my poll answer to "41-50," then. XD
