I'm a small Mississippi brewery that has been asked to provide beer for a non-profit event in LA.
The likelihood of me ever seeking partial or full distribution in CA is slim.

This is pretty much a one time deal.

I'd like to find out BA's opinion on who I might contact, Distributor-wise, about helping me with this event and be 100% on the up and up about it. I'm willing to go through the whole licensing process, just want to make sure I've got a good partner to work with.

Thanks for your time and thoughts.

Gotta agree with Stone. From the stories I have heard you want to stay away from Artisan Ales.

I always had very good experiences with Artisan Ales, Scott and Jimmy were great reps. Though I have heard that Kevin can be hard to deal with.

Heard great things about Lime Venture when it comes to small breweries. Good luck!!

A non profit event makes me wonder is this beer going to be donated or is it going to be purchased by the end user? Point being I think you're going to be hard pressed to find any interest from a distributor here for a one time event especially if the account/event it's going to isn't going to be purchasing the beer.

And stone is way too big to want to take something like this on. You'd be better off contacting someone like craft beer guild, artisan ales, incline, or california craft.
