Poll: lurkers vs. posters

I usually avoid posting just because somebody said something I was going to say better than I could say it.

 

To many's dismay, I signed up within a couple weeks of first trying craft beer, and have posted consistently since.

To be fair, @otispdriftwood , there are only so many original beer topics that can be made. I feel the same way though. I generally post in WBAYDN or NBS threads now.

 

Yeah - this. Also there are the regional guys. I see guys who post tons in the Mid-Atlantic forum, but never in Beer Talk

Edit - as for me. A poster. Probably 70% Beer Talk, 25% Mid-Atlantic and 5% "Other"

 

My normal routine was just to chill and post beer pics, now I actively seek out forums where people complain about the ills of the craft beer world and comment when I can.

Life is too short and there is too much good beer to be silent.

I'm mostly a lurker, with occasional postings on the WBAYDN and New Beer Sunday threads. Sometimes I'll respond on other threads, but more often than not I just lurk around.

Trying to figure out how to vote as hard core lurker without posting, just doubled my post count.

 

I chose '50-50' but it is probably more like 30-70. I lurk way more than I post. These boards provide wonderful reading material.
