Poll: Most consecutive BEER DRINKING days?

While I ticked the "Never miss a day" option, I have been down from time to time due to illness or meds. But mostly it's every day....

 

the 5-6 hours I'm sleeping, but even then I sleep walk to get some whiskey

 

Pretty sure after High School graduation, during beach week, I drank more beer than at any point in my life.

I'm certain I even had beer in my cereal instead of milk.

I had some good stretches in college as well.

 

I am also in the week range. If I am on vacation, I will usually have a beer or three every night. Outside of that, it is mostly weekends and maybe once or twice during the week.

 

Lol. Exactly. Not a long streak but that past snow storm a month back that "hurricane". I couldn't sleep so I decided to just keep drinking and ended up 3 consecutive days with no sleep being moderately drunk. No lie. It sucked after a while but I just kept drinking out of boredom.

 

This is my usual problem. I drink out of Boredom, but today I got a few Strains of Hop's Cousin. I'm going to be on "Party Time" in a few Hours.

 

The longest I remember is two separate times.

• I was a cook one summer and had really late hours. Really good friend at the time, the other cook, also loves beer. Local liquor store open until 3 am. We would leave work, grab two twelve packs and slam them both that night. Every day for three months. I don't per say miss it but I miss that guy. He was born in Mexico and had decent English. Proves right there the cultural relevance and hospitality that comes with good beer. A Mexican sharing a case of beer with a Half blood Native American watching hockey. Good times

• A few years ago I was a laborer doing property maintenance and all that. I lived with my boss. Every day after work we would grab rolling rocks and Budweiser and drank every single day from about April until October. One day we realized. " hey. Did you notice that we've been drinking heavily everyday, for a WHILE now". We just agreed that we didn't care because we didn't drink until work was done.

Other than that I drink 3-7 beers a night depends if I have work the next day. The only time I won't have a beer is when I need to drive in the afternoon or I'm sick. Unless I get loaded the night before and need a days break

 

sometimes i have to take a break from drinking because of pain in my liver/kidneys. i used to drink a liter of whiskey a day plus whatever vodka nips and beers i had afterward. i only drink beer now and i'm a much better person/alive because of it.

 

A couple years ago I had a new, unique beer every day for 200 days. When I got to about the 190th day it kinda began to become a chore and wasn't much fun anymore, so when I got to the nice round number of 200, I called it quits. It was fun though- I ended up trying a lot of different things.

Generally, these days, I'll take a day or 3 off per week.

 

Umm... I go for long stretches, then I stop. It's like Forrest Gump and running. I go forever, grow a crazy beard, then I <insert Gump voice> "just stop drinkaing."

 

4 days. Otherwise, it's like having dessert every day. It just not special anymore.

 

I've missed a day or two in the past 5 years. It's as routine as eating 3 square.

 

Once I did drink every day for at least a month. My wife was out of town so I got a little crazy. It was awesome looking forward to a beer (or 6) after work every day, but I prefer abstaining until the weekends which is normal for me although once in a great while I'll drink during the week.

 

360ish days.

 

Couple years 1-2 a day.

 

I was trying to do one new beer every day for 1 year when I first started ticking. I fell just a little short. I don't keep track either but I only have two each day so when I don't have any it's nbd.

 

Okay. . .no sugar coating on this cookie. . .

Born in 1956. First beer was 1973, I know. . .late bloomer.
Days without a beer between '73 and 2013; Zero.

Late in 2013 began a serious relationship with a beautiful lady from Carey, NC. She was an Acupuncturist and Naturopathic practitioner. Between October 2013 and March 2014 I missed a few precious days without a beer. . .in lieu of kale and orange smoothies and tofu steaks; she was not a fan of my love for water, grain, hops and yeast. I lie. . .always managed to "sneak" a few brews while she was at yoga class. . .or taking a long shower.

Our relationship ended in April, 2014. . .since then - balls to the wall. . .Zero days without a beer!

I don't drink beer everyday. . .only on days called. . .today.

I try not to go more than a week; otherwise I feel too bad for my liver. Haha.

 

Not sure exactly, but maybe 1 - 2 months of 1 or 2 beers a day. I usually don't try to drink every day, I just love good beer and have been trying a lot of new ones, and considering all else I drink is coffee, water, and occasionally maybe something else, I usually have room for a beer or 2 in a day. Some days I just don't feel like having one though or am out and busy.
