Other: We have access to crowlers here, but the packaging format to me is nothing special and doesn't drive my purchase decision at all. Same as package or growler...I'll buy the beer I want, wherever is most geographically expedient.

Only time I've seen a crowler station was at Oskar Blues in Brevard. That Sour G'Knight was some good shit and I'm glad I picked up two crowlers.

Never been anywhere that offers crowlers but I have enough growlers that I'd prefer to just use one of those than purchase something that I couldn't reuse (maybe you can reuse a crowler???). I don't really support something that is just going to cause more waste, doesn't seem necessary.

Crowlers are great for when I am camping or when I forgot my growlers because I don't need to buy another damn growler.

No, according to an article in "Craft Beer News" they are single use only, but entirely recyclable, just like their 12 and 16 Oz siblings.

CCB and Cycle do crowlers, which is great since I live in Iowa but still visit my family in Tampa a couple of times a year. I don't have to try and fit a growler in my luggage and I don't have to worry about making sure its with me every time I visit.

I've only had the crowlers at Corridor here in Chicago, but was a big fan. Ideal size for what I like to drink, they stay fresh longer, easier to store, portable, recyclable, and they look cool. If all else is equal, I'd opt for the brewery dishing out crowlers over growlers.

Sat down in a park with my crowler, and a homeless man sat next to me with his 32oz. can of malt liquor. He eyeballed mine a while and then asked what I paid for it. When I said "8 bucks" he about fell over. I still buy them occasionally.

I think Crowlers are the future for brewery take home beer as they offer a lot more flexibility and options to consume than a growler fill. Plus, it lets every/anyone take home fresh beer, and not just those that remembered to bring a growler with them (if they own a growler)
    - Better size for individual consumption (particularly higher ABV brews)
    - Cheaper than growler fills
    - Breweries can pre-fill a couple crowlers each day, for more efficient sales and workflow at the taps for brewery taproom staff
    - No need to buy a growler on site if you don't own one or brought one (cheaper again for consumer)
    - trades for fresh tapped beer are possible in a Crowler
    - great for bringing back local or out of distribution area tap beer while on travel.
