Not sure this was true for the first World Series in 1903 (though, arguably, baseball was played almost nowhere else then)…

Also—still not a single poll vote from Africa.

Mm-hmm... But sure beer is made and drink there... even not "quite developed" countries like Burkina Faso (where is that?) buy beer analyzers from our company on a regular basis.
As far as beer consumption in the poorest countries is concerned, remining joke about a son asking his father who has just been fired.
    - Dad, will you drink less now?
    - No, son, you will eat less now!

I suppose that the majority of users here are from the US but I had to laugh at the US getting 10 distinct regions while we have “Europe” and “Asia”, for example, being single categories. So much for globalism, lol. I’m in Japan, which is in Asia.

If we get more than 6 active users from Japan all posting about beer in Japan, I'd be more than happy to consider creating a Japan subforum.

Last new thread was nearly two months ago:

Also, consider updating your profile by adding Japan to your location:

Maine. Great beer and tons of breweries. #2 after Vermont breweries per capita.

It’s no secret that it’s a U.S.-centric site (I believe the policy is that all discussions must be in English—at least it was the last time I looked—which is probably necessary, but also probably doesn’t help). But as of now Asia has 4 votes in this poll compared to 675 from the U.S. So, sure, the site reflects its users and that probably tends to be self-reinforcing.

Long Island, New York. Pretty decent local brewery scene but the Total Wine is the best beer store and they don't always get the really top-notch micro-breweries from around the country.

If we still had 40 posts per page, I probably wouldn't have. :stuck_out_tongue:
