I've had a Smugmug account for over 10 years. It's a little expensive but it works great for everything, including my beer pics.

Instagram sometimes, when on my computer, i use my Google site. Started using Photobucket, seems to work good.

I tried but i can't seem to find the image url on my phone

imgur. free and very easy. I tired photobucket but that was too hard. Imgur lets me sign in from a google account so there is not anything to remember like a username or a password. I use it exclusively for Ba.

I use Tiny...extremely easy. You do have ads that take up 10 seconds now and then but it's free...I'm not worried about space either so that's not in the discussion for me.

I don't have an account with any site. I used TinyPic for a while. It is easy, and the ads are easy enough to guess once you've seen them enough.

....but I have since switched to Imgur. It seems more stable, faster, and you can very easily upload multiple pictures at once (I don't think that was the case with TinyPic, although it could be that I'm just kinda dumb).

Photobucket has a mobile app that allows to quickly upload phone images. Then one-click copying of the direct image link.

Imgur, but I still have issues with posting from a smart phone. It is an issue with my phone I believe so I just send them to my laptop and go from there.

I have a Flickr account for my photography, but for general picture uploading/posting I always use Imgur.

I use Instagram because it's easy. The only drawback is that occasionally I want to post a picture on here that I don't necessarily want to share with my IG followers. The example that comes to mind was a thread several months ago asking for pictures of beer how many beers you have in your beer fridge, and while most people here understand, I think my non-BA followers would see it as a sign of a problem. :grinning:

In those situations, I use Flickr because I already have a Yahoo! account. The only drawback to Flickr is that the upload process can be cumbersome, at least in comparison to Instagram.

I recently got a new computer, and there's a new phone in my near future. My goal is to finally be able to post pics here on BA. Which one of the photo services is simplest to use, for taking a pic with the phone, then getting it here?

I use the photobucket app on my phone: take the pic with the regular camera, then open up photobucket with the auto-upload feature on, once the pic is uploaded, select it, then the info button from the menu, and a formatted link for message boards is right there for you to copy. Once the app is open, it's 3 screen taps and I'm ready to paste the link here.

I use a DSLR and Lightroom so I don't mind the extra clicking flickr requires since I'm usually on a desktop. I really like the layout and community on flickr.

Wow - Photobucket is pretty dominant, along with Imgur. Thought there'd be more Flickr users... :flushed:

I actually started off with Photobucket but they changed their free account limits on me when I was well past the newly imposed limit and they were asking me for money. Guess I felt a little affronted at that time, never having dreamed how much I'd be getting into taking pics, so I left them and signed on with Flickr. I knew I had a limit on Flickr and was ready when I reached it to sign up for their Pro account, which I think is tough to beat value-wise (which is why they discontinued it ), but I'm "grandfathered" in so I can keep it as long as I maintain it.

Flickr Pro has unlimited storage for $24.95/year. By way of comparison, here are Photobucket's current pricing plans.
I looked up Imgur and their Pro account is free but has ads and a file size cap, but I don't know how big a deal that is for most folks. Seems like most don't mind it based on their popularity.

And if you're curious, here is a list of the Top 15 Most Popular Photo Sharing Sites, as compiled by ebizmba.com :sunglasses:
