Imgur is the only one that I know how to use. It is pretty easy although I had to learn it all over when I switched from droid to iPhone. Still easy.

adblockplus and no ads. if your computer has enough memory you can have access to all your pics. I have several thousand and on my laptop I can only see 250. On my sons gaming monster pc I can see them all for free.

yes indeed, the net looks so much better without flickering windows obnoxiously wanting my attention
I swear I'm phobic to marketing as it can make me nauseous

the imgur problem - my collection is available for public viewing
I like a viewing interface very much uncluttered, this delivers what I want
what imgur is now saying is they don't want my $22 per year - they would rather
not take the hard coin but would prefer putting an ad on every page you view of mine
    no eff'n way
ujane, you and I use adblockplus and we won't see the ads but a staggering amount of folks don't use blockers
to allow them to put an ad next to an image of mine
triple no eff'n way - I'm invulnerably ad free through October

imgur.com I like the ease of upload, editing functions, and it is a hilarious site to browse.

Imgur, it's free, made by a redditor, simple to use, no limits, and they scrub Exif data. Photobucket's always slow, flickr's complicated to setup (I have an account, it's a hassle), and nothing else is really as good. Also Facebook, but those are really just for myself and friends.

started using flickr in college for classes. Then BA allowed for photo links, so I was like alright.(when LNBA first went photo I tried to remain all text but that sadly got old)

Initially I had a limit on my flickr account, I reached that but flickr for whatever reason gave me more space so I'm not losing old photos to post new ones. I like looking back through the 1300+ photos seeing the changes from 4 megapixel camera to average cell phone to decent cell phone to android. Got some good times in my photo album.

I primarily use Instagram at the moment but I'm trying to get into using Flickr as you seem to be able to upload larger, higher quality images. As an "enthusiast" photographer, I feel that Flickr would hold more precedent.

Actually I don't notice any ads on imgur. Where do you see them? I don't use adblockplus. (Although, the video ads showing up on this site in recent time—pretty much always on the home and review pages now—have me thinking about starting.)

I use imgur for the same reasons: it's a clean interface, relatively easy to manage, usually fast, and it's straightforward to properly embed the image so that it doesn't become a pop up link out to photobucket or some other site noisy ad-laden site.

i usually don't post stuff in forums because it is often a hassle to get a photo up.

I have had a photobucket app for when it is a necessity (part on something broke, post on forum to ask others, etc). Recently i decided to see if photobucket had an app to easily upload and post. Tried it, it was fairly easy. So i might do it more often. Only problem then is posting it on the forum it needs to go on. The BA app is horrible, so then i have to load a tiny forum on the phone's safari. Doable, but not easy.

Used to do flickr, but i have little time for actual photography anymore and don't really feel the need to show it off to the world all the time. I run my own website for my design portfolio, so my work goes there.

I use instagram from time to time, but it really isn't my thing.

I cannot get crap to work. Flikr, imgur, photobucket, nothing. Can't copy and paste URL with smartphone, can't get images to upload in a timely fashion from my phone to sharing clouds...... If anyone would like to speak to me like I'm an idiot in order to help, please do so because apparently my intellectualism runs out right about where photo sharing begins.........

". . . That’s why, on our birthday, we’ve decided that you’re the one who deserves a gift. We’re phasing out Pro subscriptions...and making the Pro features completely free for every Imgur user!
One thing to mention--one small display ad per page will now be shown. . . "
