We're getting wider distro every year, but it does seem like we're playing catch-up to Illinois. I guess CA's doing pretty well.

I'd have to say Chicago. I was going to try to avoid home state bias, but the east coast doesn't get Deschutes.

PA, who voted for them? There is a very limited number of places near me to purchase a 6 pack, and those that are there are nothing to write home about. I have to go to NY.

    Ugh... lol
I threw "distribution" in front of "state" knowing the funny shit people might throw out there...

I was actually thinking someone would go with "intoxication" ("state of intoxication") first, but I was ready for anything...
Hey, it's all just for laughs, right? Hell, we've all been drinking :stuck_out_tongue:

    Cheers, brothers...

It seems to be thirty people (so far).

Southeastern PA (Philly area) has very, very good selections of craft beer and a good selection of imports as well.

Within a 10-15 minute drive I have a dozen retailers which sell by the bottle & 6/12 packs. I do wish the PA legislators would reform the overall alcohol laws but there really is a great selection of beer in this area.

I suspect that the rest of the state is not so hot.

    Cheers!

Certainly not Maryland. Frequently running to PA or VA to get numerous quality beers distributed from out of state and into PA or VA:
Bells, Deshutes, Great Lakes, Founders just to name a couple of the big guns out there.

Not to mention the fact that you need to go to one store to buy a 6-pack, another store to buy a case of beer, and another to get your wine and alcohol, the last of which is state-run and has very limited hours. It may surprise a lot of people here to know this, but none of these establishments are allowed to sell the other items at all.

Between that and our "no-hunting on Sunday" law, we live in a truly outdated society.

But actually considering the poll, I live in Philly and can get just about any beer I can think of from the US or otherwise at places within walking distance. I mean, the selection here is actually overwhelming to the point of spending over a half hour or better at the bottle shop just picking out a mixed sixer.

Hmmm. Well, SE PA doesn't technically quaify as East Coast since Jersey is between here and there. However we have a river that empties eventually into the Atlantic, so it is possible to get to the Atlantic by boat from near where I live, which probably gives us honorary East Coast status.

And we do get Deschutes here.

Of course we are East Coast here in SE PA. I live in Philly and can be at the ocean in 45 minutes. I don't think anyone ever means you need to actually live on the beach to be on the coast.

Well, I voted for PA. A few years ago I was in Brussels for work for a couple of weeks and found that I had to look really hard to find Belgian beers there that weren't also available in PA.

I finally got to see NYC's distro yesterday, but since I haven't seen many of the other states' distributions I can't justifiably vote.

I wanted to get a bit more established on the site before I started trading but I will be soon enough. I'm proud of all the beers in this area and would like nothing more than to share them with those less fortunate in their choices.

From that list, I'd say Illinois.

From personal experience, Ohio slightly outweighs Michigan in this regard.
