    I usually refer to them lovingly as "beezos". As in, "Beezo? (i.e. want a beer?)" I think my dad called them that.

    In our house its affectionately called a beverage. I just look at my wife and go beverage?, which luckily we both suffer from mutual peer pressure so the answer is usually yes. We just split a bottle of anchorage's Galaxy ipa tonight this way.
