Ponysaurus opened their taproom last week and we finally made it over to try a few last night. I was very impressed with both the space, which offers a great view across the brewing floor, and with the beers. They had a solid and unique mix of offerings (IPA, RyePA - my personal fave, some great Belgian styles, a stout, a scotch, an altbier and a couple of guest lines), indoor and outdoor dog-friendly space, and the obligatory food truck outside. Sounds like they have a goal of canning a couple of beers in the next few months. Only turn-off for me was that they aren't planning to fill growlers. Overall, a very welcome addition to the Triangle - keep an eye on these guys.
I am working the beerfest this weekend in Durham, going to look for them. Have yet to try and of their brews.
