I always wonder that when someone posts something about a specific A-hole that they run into. I bet it's at least a coin flip's chance he's reading this and realizing it's about him.

From an employee's perspective, I have no problem with you buying up. However, this is conditional upon you not depriving a regular of what he wants or myself (but this one is lessened as I ought to know to hide things at the back if I or a regular wants them).

But the question I want to know more is whether he ripped a single out of the 4pk when there were singles next to it to choose from?

 

The etiquette violation is on him, NOT you. If you bought the only 5 cases of brew they had of it, MMmmmmaybe, but finders keepers.

AMEN! They take a 4 pack and make them split it up for single bottle sales which are more expensive down the line.

 

Dude. They sell beer, you buy beer. You should have told that dude to pay attention to his purchases and you will pay attention to yours. He's an ass, and I'm assuming broke and jealous that you could afford more & he couldn't.

 

I wonder if that same guy also rants on people for taking the last 2 ribeye steaks from the shelf, the last 4 Snickers bars, or the last 30-pack of Budweiser. You did nothing wrong.

What the poor guy is saying you should spend $$$$ on beer there, especially anything Founders. Befriend the beer guy, bring him whalez even you haven't tried. When the timing is right for the FBS release, have him hold your alloted 4 pack out back like everyone else, and for god sake, learn the fucking secret hand shake.

I would have bought all that I wanted, and if challenged, told the guy to get up a little earlier in the morning. Well, I'm a retired lineman, I would have told him something that he probably did'nt want to hear!

Just like every other consumer product that has ever been on a shelf, it's first come, first serve. The only thing you did wrong was that you didn't tell buddy to fly. Like another BA mentioned, the beer is on the shelf to be bought, not to be viewed as a piece of art
