Poor Jubel

In this present incarnation I havent been on here long enuf

 

I loved Jubel 2010 so I'm looking forward to seeing it down south. Like the OP, I remember 2010 having a nice silky mouthfeel. Can anyone comment on 2015 having a similar mouthfeel?

 

had it on tap, thought it was pretty good but nothing special

had a bottle of it last weekend, liked it a lot more than i did origianlly. going to get another bottle and sit on it for a year or two

 

Sounds like a good plan, but if you prefer your beer at 98.6°F I doubt it will take quite that long.

 

so thats where ive been going wrong!

 

Saw it for $18 here in the 'Ham yesterday. Will try a glass at a Deschutes brewers night tonight before I commit to buying bottles.

 

For $10, you should jump for joy. Just payed $18.

 

Had it on tap this weekend I liked it definitely taste Pinot barrels but mellows out like a soft barleywine glad I picked up a bottle to age

 

I picked up 2 bottles today. It says best after 1/23/16. Should I Crack one open tomorrow And save the other for a year?

2015 was pretty rough on tap, I'd grab a bottle lay down, but it was not great on tap and I'm really not sure why it was on tap, it didn't seem anywhere near ready.

 

thought it was great on tap. gonna cellar my bottle for a year to compare

 

Drank my last Jubel 2010 over Christmas and it was incredible. I had the new one fresh and it is decent but wow does it become nice with 4+ years in the cellar. I'm sticking as much away as I can.
