poppet problems

    I recently ordered a couple pin lock to ball lock conversion sets from AIH. Everything seems to fit well except the button on the disconnects do not depress at all when attached to either post. It seems as though the poppet is not "stiff" enough. The poppets they provided do not have feet. Anyone run into a similar issue?

    I won't use universal poppets anymore...I had just the opposite problem...too stiff : )

    Do you think a non universal ball lock poppet would work on a pin lock keg? I figure they provided universal for a reason?

    They got back to me and recommended two dip tube o-rings. Give it a whirl
