Port Barrel Aged Beers

    I recently had a Cabernet Laika and I thought it was very good. As I like a good port wine, what are some port aged beers? I'd like to venture into more but the only thing I can think of is the Port Aged Dark Lord...

    I have a bottle of JW Lees Harvest-2010- barley wine aged in port casks. I have no idea how good it will be- no clue at all but I hope it will be worth my anticipation

    Tried one - Celtic New Year (Blue Lobster)
    Have another - Port Damon (Hill Farmstead)

    Rivertown (OH) ages their standard Lambic in Port Barrels, and it is just wow.

    Yeah this beer is awesome, even better than their bourbon Ba laika. Stay on the lookout for a cognac version also .

    I'm glad (kind of) that this beer is getting some recognition :wink: I'm a huge fan, and it blows BB Laika out of the water imo.
