I buy a lot more Lost Abbey stuff than Port. Not that I don't like Port, but their beers tend to be in crowded style categories.

I love Port beers and Lost Abbey is hit and miss with me. Never had a carbonation issue with either of them. I just love they way Port uses hops.

I like both, but to me, it comes down to which style is more appealing - Belgian/American Belgian vs. American? Choosing between the two, I'll go with the Port side.

Both are amazing. I really love Port High Tide when it's around. And...Lost Abbey is yet to disappoint.

I've had some stand-out beers from Port: Hop 15 and Old Viscosity being a couple favorites. As far as Lost Abbey goes, I've only tried 2 offerings- Red Barn and Angel's Share (Bourbon). Red Barn was surprisingly terrible (don't know if it was a bad bottle or what), and the Angel's Share was very good. My preference definitely leans toward Port...

I'm not sure I could choose one over the other. Both divisions have very different offerings outside of the stouts which are all great. Port's hoppy stuff is pretty solid, and the Lost Abbey's sours are really well done. IMO both divisions make great beer, but both also have some serious qc issues.

More of Port because I generally crave hoppy beers, but I find The Lost Abbey beers to be much more interesting on the whole.

I enjoy the Port line-up more.
