I will be heading to Port Clinton Ohio next weekend to Walleye fish for a bachelor party, any good beer shops around the area or bars with a decent tap list. Looking for beer I cant get in Iowa Thanks Cheers
To the best of my knowledge there is not much happening in Port Clinton. Your best bet is to hit up The Anderson's in Toledo. They have a few branches, one should be on your route. According to seek-a-brew there are a ton of beers in OH that are not in IA. Port Clinton is a wasteland for beer for the most part - The Thirsty Pirate is probably your best bet for craft taps in the immediate area. Catawba Island Brewing Company is in Port Clinton, and their Double Couple Three Hops IPA is pretty solid. Worth checking out, at least!
No real retail shop but you should be able to pick up the widely distributed beers that you wouldn't have access to in IA at the IGA in Catawba.
