    Toss in a couple stouts and see if anyone can tell the difference. They shouldn't, because there's not one.

    That's exactly the point I was going to make. As stout and porter are one and the same it would certainly widen the choice available.
    Try Fuller's Black Cab Stout against their London Porter.
