    He also owes @Mateo2699 from the fantasy football league that we were in and he has never responded to any messages or emails since the season ended.

    That would be me. Also served as commissioner and got lucky with a few games at the end.

    @Ditkastache
    I'm real confident I have a Mexican Cake in my cellar, as it happens to be one of my favorite beers. If you have no problems with me sending it your way along with *other* beers, as I've also looked over your wants list :wink: ..send me your info please.

    @Todd I realize this doesn't meet the *criteria* for a *bad trader*, but @Luweezy has not been on BA going on (6) weeks and seems to have left town owing people boxes, along with *ignoring* all means of communication from the people he owes. He has (0) trades and (51) posts since his join date in 2013, so he has not been very active all around.

    Based on everything above, I'm not sure we shouldn't just retire his account now and move forward. It's not like he hasn't had plenty of enough time to make this right.

    He contacted me this morning and said he is shipping tomorrow. He said he will send me the confirmation number once he drops it off.

    @dmbforever, you are way too generous. It is really not necessary. I am holding out to. See if this package arrives. But seriously, thank you. Really cool gesture.

    It would also be nice if he could sign on here and give some kind of response/apology for his actions or lack thereof.

    I told him he should check in on here.

    He said he was busy moving and life got in the way.

    @Todd

    It appears this BA might actually pull threw with his obligations.

    Will update accordingly.

    Guy should still be banned even if he comes through imo. Life getting in the way is such a shitty excuse -- we're adults and shouldn't have to chase people to fulfill their obligations. 2-3 months without communication is inexcusable unless you were involved in some type of tragedy

    If he gets banned after coming through (even if it took some effort) then there is zero incentive for anybody to ever fulfill their obligations in the future in a similar circumstance.

    Other than morality or whatever he already has fairly minimal reason to make good (I don't think I'd ever trade with him at this point and he doesn't have much of a presence on the site) but if we start banning people in situations like this then it decreases the likelihood of people like OP getting their beer even further.

    Exactly this. The whole point of the BT forum is to try to help a victim be made whole, not beat up the BT. We encourage the victimized trading partner to leave appropriate feedback, just so other potential trading partners are aware the member's history, but otherwise the whole point of this forum is try to help make sure the victimized member receives the beer he was promised (and for which he generally has already fulfilled his side of the bargain).

    I agree with both of you on the banning part. I think he should be banned, but can understand in some sort of aspect that someone shouldn't be banned. In this case, it has taken 6 plus weeks just to get any form of communication, even if life gets in the way, a quick message would've been nice. Unless it was some tragedy, which it may have been one, as we don't know the entirety of the situation, I believe he should be banned. He knew that he had to pay his dues, then went dark without doing so, that seems to be a bad BA. But it's not up to us, and the Mods will make an educated decision.

    I am glad that this is at least starting to look up, and hate that someone would try to pull a quick one on another person. But again, one should be considered innocent until proven guilty.

    Agree to disagree, but what good will this guy EVER contribute to the community? He had zero trade history, participated in this league all season and even joined BIFs on several different sites (which he likely also screwed over). If life got in the way and he was truly sorry, he would be on here explaining his situation.
