Possible privacy setting glitch

    I'm in a BIF and don't want my target to see that I'm viewing his/her profile page. In my privacy settings, I have 'Show your online status' unchecked, but when I click on my profile it says I was last seen viewing the BIF thread X minutes ago.

    Is there an additional setting I missed?

    That's only option you need to adjust. Did you just disable "show online status" today?

    I just researched and tested this. It's not a bug. Working as intended.

    If you disable "show online status" in your privacy settings, only those with permissions to see your online status will. Those members would be: you, admins and any mods with permissions.
