So in an attempt to escape the 6-7 months of snow, I've thought about moving from Minnesota to Arizona. I have friends and family down there, and my job would be an easy transition. But I'd love to make a trip out of it! I wouldn't pull the trigger for another year or two, but being the planner I am, I have done some homework. I have a rough itinerary in mind, but I hope to seek out your input. I want to try local breweries along the way, and if they offer food, that's a plus. Of course I'd love to grab some solid local beer as well.

Day 1: St. Paul-Omaha (~5.5 hrs of driving)
It should be an easy driving day with a pit stop in Des Moines, likely grabbing lunch at El Bait Shop or Zombie Burger, then likely staying w/ relatives in Omaha. Ideally I'd like to grab dinner at Nebraska Brewery, but if there are other breweries that are worth trying and offer some sort of food, I'd be down.

    Day 2: Omaha-Denver (~7.25 hrs of driving)
A lot of driving through a lot of boring scenery, most likely hitting up North Platte for lunch. Likely staying with cousins again in Golden, but would look for a cheap AirBNB near downtown. If there was a way to grab a pint of, or acquire a bottle or two of Pliny, that would be great. But I don't want to limit myself to the hunt for the elusive Pliny the Elder. Going to Great Divide or Renegade would not be bad ideas for me.

    Day 3: Denver-Albuquerque (~6.5 hrs of driving)
Hopefully a bit more exciting scenery while driving, but I hope to have lunch near the CO/NM border, and probably getting a hotel in ABQ if I have been thrifty with places to stay. I don't have a lot of knowledge of the brewing scene there outside of Santa Fe and La Cumbre, so I'm especially looking for help here.

    Day 4: ABQ-Phoenix (~6.5 hrs of driving)
My final leg I'll likely hit up Petrified Forest National Park and eat lunch in Flagstaff afterwards, maybe Sedona. Hopefully I'll arrive in Phoenix soon after where I already have a good idea of the beer scene (I was just there in June).

So here is a rough itinerary, if there are any other places of interest (either beer, scenery, or whatnot), I'll be sure to listen!
